Hi there!
I'd been trying to start "reggie" for weeks, unsuccesfully. When I finally managed to start it, I realized that one of the arguments was missing, the command line should be:
java -jar c:\files\jini1_1\lib\reggie.jar http://ppal:8081/reggie-dl.jar c:\files\jini1_1\policy\policy.all c:\tmp\reggie_log public
but I forgot to type "public". Apparently, Reggie started correctly. Afterwards, I tried to launch a service, but there were problems in finding the classes (I suppose that the missing argument has something to do with that).
Now, my problem is that I don't know how to add the missing argument or to kill the existing "reggie" in order to start a new one properly.
Thanks in advance.
Yolanda

You can use the Task Manager to kill the VM process that contains Reggie. If you're on NT/2K, hold down Ctrl-Alt-Del at the same time and choose the Task Manager from the dailog box that pops up. Then just look for a java.exe you don't mind killin'.
