Hi
Im developing a chat program RMI based. My classes hierarchy is consist of a server as a remote object and several assistant classes which are remote objects all of those are under the server computer.
My client (applet) contains several panels which each one presents the Client list , massage bar and e.g. therefore each panel is a different class.
Should I make all of those panels also remote objects on the server computer or regular classes on he client computer?
Thanks
Shay Gaghe

Don't bother making them remote. RMI will not serve AWT objects the way you're thinking. That is, you can't get remote GUIs through RMI. Trust me on that one.
