I am writing a CORBA server on OS/390. You can consider it as a normal Unix based Java application. As I understand, I have to start tnameserv and start my server. The admin on the mainframe requires some functions like if the tnameserv is shutdown by somebody, my own java server will be informed right away. He's also asked a elegant way to shut down the tnameserv in stead of using Ctrl-C or "kill -9".
Is there anybody know how I am gonna do that.
