Hello everybody,
I am developing an application which shares a printer in a network using Jini. The same application will also be developed using Jxta. The aim is to compare the two applications and thereby comparing the two technologies. The aim is not to decide on which is better, but to find the advantages and disadvantages of using these technologies in such a scenario.
Please tell me on what basis or on what parameters should i compare the two appliactions. I need atleast 10 parameters, based on which i should do the comparision. One that i could think about is the utilization of bandwidth. Please suggest some more, and also it would be helpful if u tell me on how to get started (programming using Jxta).
Thanks in advance

Vijay,
Check out this thread and this thread. The author of both jini and jxta book might enlighten you.

As I mention in JXTA vs Jini the basic difference is
Jini says, "The protocols don't matter, the platform is what matters" JXTA says, "The platform doesn't matter, the protocol is what matters"
