Hello friends,
i have to develop a chat server in rmi. now my problem is if i instantiates the server and binds the object with rmiregistry(only one instance), can this one instance serve more than one client at a time.
Please ask if my question is not clear.

RMI servers are threaded applications so you have to make sure your RMI server is thread safe.
To answer your question, yes the RMI server can serve more than one client at a time.

David, So there are not thread problems like socket when i develope a rmi application?
