I have a RMI server running on a NT server. When it runs, two DosCmd windows (rimregistry, java application) are opened on desktop. To prevent someone accidently close one of them, which will shut down the RMI server, how can I make them run at the background? Thank you.

Hi David,
You have to make the RMI registry as an NT Service,
have a look at this place,
http://www.codeguru.com/java/articles/354.shtml
Also do a google with "RMI Registry as NT Service"
Hope this helps.
