UnmarshalException help requested

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
I'm getting an UnmarshalException that looks like this:

here is the offending line of code

this line is called from within the Tb4Server class constructor. Does Naming.bind() need to be called once the Tb4Server call has completed and returned an instance?
the rmiregistry is running I think because when I try to start it it tells me the port is already in use(because its not the first time I started it). I have my stub in the same jar file as my other classes and it is in the CLASSPATH. I'm using java 1.4.1_01 so I shouldn't need a skeleton.
I am trying to get this to run on linux. I have tried running it as a regular user and as root and both return the same results.
What can cause a SocketException:connection reset?
thanks for any help

fixed my problem. I had my stub and my remote interface in the jar file where they couldn't be found by rmiregistry.
Since I'm trying to use a local stub and interface instead of having it served by a request to some http server, I have to have these 2 class files in the same directory that I start my rmiregistry from. Or at least thats what got it working for me. If you are looking for a good simple example of rmi without using the http server that some of the other tutorials use, check out this link. If anyone can post a way to tell rmiregistry where to look for those class files, I would be interested to know it.
Hope this helps anyone who is searching through and finds this.
