We are able to deploy EJBs, servelets and JSPs as J2EE containers within J2EE app servers. EJB's essentially use RMI (RMI/IIOP) as communication protcol and are deployable in J2EE app servers. This prompted me to explore if it is possible to deploy some existing RMI services within the J2EE app server?
Greately appreciate any insights.
Thanks

I can't speak for all appservers, but I'm pretty sure that WebLogic supports RMI apps. I'd assume that yours does but RTFM to make sure that the EJB mechanism wasn't set up in such a way as to break straight RMI.
