Dear all,
I want to build I p2p application using java. Suppose there is node computer, which is not a web server or ftp server, I want it to share some resources like mp3. How can I write a java application using http connection to download the resource from the node computer?

Hmm I think you are asking the wrong questions. If you were to ask" Can java do this?" Yes it can . If you were to ask a question about a specific problem you were having making this work then we might be able to help you.
To answer what you asked would mean we were doing all the thinking work for you. Come up with a plan of how you want it to work. Code what you know how to do and research and ask questions about the stuff you don't know. Thats the only way to do this unless you want to pay someone to do it for you.

For P2P application, there's a very nice protocol named JXTA.
And , thx jxta.org, you can get here
all the stuff in java to build robust P2P applications.
