As i am using RMI based chat. When i am invoking my chat session from my machine then it throws the Following Exception at rmiserver console in WEbserver(Hosted on InterNet)
java.net.NoRouteToHostException: No route to host: connect
I am a client of Local Intranet.
If any body has some Answer to avoid this exception.Plz let me know.

In the JavaDocs for NoRouteToHostException it states - "Signals that an error occurred while attempting to connect a socket to a remote address and port. Typically, the remote host cannot be reached because of an intervening firewall, or if an intermediate router is down." Could this error be occurring because of a firewall on the system?

Check out the JGuru RMI tutorial for a good description of RMI HTTP Tunneling.
