RMI and other threads writing/reading from sockets
posted 12 years ago
I'm getting very weird errors when using RMI. When I use a threaded version of the application, I get No Such Object In Table Exceptions. If I comment out all of the threads except for the main thread that turns on the RMI servers, it works fine. My RMI servers are listening to ports 6010 through 6013. Now, in the threads I am turning off, I am listening to and writing to Multicast sockets. The ports these sockets are using are 4446 and 4447 respectively. What could be the problem?
