I have forte installed on my computer. Can I use it to write and test my RMI and CORBA applications?

The only "Forte" I know related to Java is the really, really old IDE that was released "bundled" with the JDK before SunOne and NetBeans... is this the "Forte" you are talking about or is it some other product?

If it is, I don't recall if it had any built-in easy way to generate or test CORBA or RMI applications... I'm sure that it would be perfectly fine to use to code and test any RMI or CORBA applications that you write yourself, but I also see no reason why you wouldn't want to get a more modern IDE...

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
