hi could anyone explain how to create a muti threaded server in rmi. such that every time a client acceess the server a new thread is created.

It is best to implement the multi-threading yourself. I can recommend an excellent multi threading api by Dug Lea obtainable from

his website. Obviously you are best to know about threading and the issues and headaches that can occur when using threading and also the patterns he is using in his api (he's also got a book you know). I have used this api in numerous projects.

hi thanks for your post. actually i was not looking for that kind of threading work. i simplly wanted to know how u can create mutpile threads, synchronize between them, in say writing to a database, and so on. but thanks.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
