I am developing a applet for execute remote with RMI.
But when I try to execute the applet in the client it happens the following error=
"java.rmi.NotBoundException: Server"

my code client is:
public class ClientInterface extends UnicastRemoteObject implements RMI {
String contexto;
public ClientInterface()throws RemoteException{
public static void main(String args[]) {
if(System.getSecurityManager() == null ){
System.setSecurityManager(new RMISecurityManager()); }
try {
ClientInterface obj = new ClientInterface();
System.out.println("ServerInterface bound in registry");}
catch(Exception e){
System.out.println("Server err: "+ e.getMessage());

Looks to me like you have posted your server code (and not your "client code" as you have stated). You are associating the string "//ip_do_servidor/Server" with your server object. So the lookup string (that a client needs to use) will be:

where "host" is the name of the computer where the RMI server is running.

I have a feeling that perhaps you are having trouble understanding how RMI works. Allow me to recommend a series of tutorials on RMI that are available from the following Web page:

The RMI "lessons" start at lesson number 600.

Good Luck,
