Is it possible to have a client load all of its necessary classes at runtime from a server (HTTP server). I've tried doing this after setting the codebase but all I get is the trusty ClassNotFoundException...

If I put the interface and client classes on the client machine I can dynamically get the stub and all works fine....

I'm under the impression I should be able to load everything dymanically.

What am I missing?

Thanks for your help!

This further to a posting over on the sun forums where I haven't managed to get a response yet http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=684099&tstart=0

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
