IF any body have an idea about how many type of connection possible in RMI.

And what are they?
please give each one example ?

Can you tell us what you mean by "type of connection"? Are you talking of the transport being used or something else?

I knew that it will be an interview question Usually, these are the source of most questions . I bet it must be a twisted form of a question on some "interview questions" website!!!
I think he must be refering to transport. RMI can use IIOP or JRMP transport protocols.
IMHO, an rmi call is always a point to point call.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
