I am trying to implement a time syncronization algorithm in distributed systems.
I have multiple machine on LAN which run time daemon. One of them is configured to be time master. Others are slave. Master asks all other for their current time. It calculates the average time and sends back the time to all others. All then adjust their time. This is the berkeley syncronization algorithm.

while making RMI call to all slaves to ask for time , how can I store the responses from esch slave? Do I need to implement call back functionality ? I am not getting the structure of the code.

PLease help. HOw to structure my master daemon code ?

Thanks in advance
