Hello,

I'm going to implement an internet cafe management system using java.
As I don't have much experience in distributed java programming. I would be grateful If someone can advise me on this. I'm familiar with socket programming + RMI. To develop applications to use in a distributed environment (LAN) are there any frameworks? What's JINI and is it such a framework?

and also I want to know whether they're any frameworks/open source libraries which are written in native languages (C/C++) and can be called through JNI to invoke native operating systems commands?(in windows, shutdown, restart, etc)

Thanks.

Regards,
Viraj
