I have been using JSF since early last year and I just bought Java Server Faces in Action by Kito Mann. This text is excellent and I definitely recommend it!

As I am very familiar with the framework at this point, the book is helping to fill in the voids for me...it would also be great for a beginner though.

Take care-

Josh

Core JSF is a very good Reference Book. JSF in Action will help show you how to put everything to use. I don't think I could do without both.

Also wanted to say that I've found JSF In Action (Mann) to be very good.

I also have the O'Reilly book, but found that Mann explained a number of things more clearly.
