I've toyed around with the idea of using a single managed bean for my entire app. This bean would contain an instance of every other bean I might use in the application and is stored in the session.

Has anyone ever considered doing this? Any immediate pro's and/or con's you can list on this idea?

Why do you want to do this? do you really want to put all of your beans in session?
OR
Are you trying to create a FactoryBean which will return you the beanInstances on run-time?
