Hi,

I'm using java server faces, to develop a website.
I've a problem. I have a table, with a column, where I can change the value of a particular row. If I do this with my home-laptop (firefox 0.9.3, IE 6.0.2800), it works fine.
When I do this with my computer (Firefox 1.0, IE 5.50.4809) at work, it doesn't work. When I look in my database, the value is changed. I see my website refreshing, but nothing happens. I've to close my browser, to see the result...

I think it has something to do with cache...

Does anyone has an idea?

Thx a lot

Ann

ps: I can't install an other version on my work. It's all very restricted.

Have you tried verifying this by setting (Firefox 1.0, IE 5.50.4809) environment in your home pc?

Hi,

it's the same problem. He adapts the value in the database, but doesn't show the new value in the view.

Thx a lot.

Ann

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
