I have a test.jsp under the context root. This is my web.xml entry.
Tomcat allows directory browsing of the context root. But does'nt render the jsp..it just takes forever and hangs.

Am i missing something here?
thanks.

and this my jsp. I had lot more stuff in there but i trimmed it down.

Varun,

I think i celebrated too soon. I saw it working yesterday.

This is the url:

http://localhost:8090/hello/test.faces

and i see the following:

404 error for test.jsp !

When i do,
http://localhost:8090/hello

I can see test.faces there. But on clicking i see a 404 error now.
my web.xml entry is same as above.

Help needed!
