As probably many of you, I build a form page in steps. At least big forms.

In this one I am having a weird efect:

I built a form with a commandLink and a selectOneMenu inside.

First I put a empty selectOneMenu,

<h:selectOneMenu id="selMen">
<%-- TODO <f:selectItems value="#{}"/> --%>

and a commandLink,
<h:commandLink id="goSecLink" value="to 2nd form" action="#myActions.goSecForm}" styleClass="bigLink"/>

After testing all work fine. Just as expected, if I click on the link, the page with form2 appears.

Now: if I put a value to the selectOneMenu ( like value="#{myFields.selId}" ), either in the selectOneMenu tag or in the selectItems one ( like value="#{myFields.thingsToSel}" ), the link (commandLink) doesnt work anymore!!!

It seams to request something to the server after clicking on it, but it stays in the same page.
No forward to the form2 page + the "commandLink action" is not being activated

Also other commandLinks which work whith actions do not work.

Any idea?
