Any framework can use those technologies. What does this have to do with JSF?

Well, you could start with this tutorial. Then read some books. I like JavaServer Faces in Action by Kito D. Mann and Core JavaServer Faces. Ask lots of questions and just dig in. There is no better way to start.

JSF In Action is an amazing book. I am loving it.
I would like to recommend that too. It will show you almost everything possible with JSF.
Thanks.
