thanx a lot for all those inputs. I just downloaded jsf plugin for Eclipse and configured it into Eclipse, but i still have some problem with the faces-config.xml.... where in i cannot set the managed bean attributes.
myEclipse IDE (plugin for eclipse) supports both hibernate and JSF. Shortly they are coming with JSF designer as well. You can try with the trail version of it. I felt it is good compared to exadel and other plugins.
You can download a complete build, which includes the Eclipse 3.1 workbench and release 0.7 of the WTP from here.
This doesn't have any specific JSF features, but does have great Tomcat integration and code complete XML editor.
You can go one step further and get the other tools which claim JSF integration, but until there is true visual forms design in an Eclipse tool (I'm unaware of any, but I believe the Eclipse foundation has plans), I find the Eclipse WTP to be just fine.
