what do I need to run JSF ?  RSS feed

if I have jdk1.4, an app server supporting servlet 2.3/jsp 1.2, is that all I need to have to run JSF ? DO I need any special "jsf.jar" kind stuff ? I know to run struts we need a special jar for struts downloable from apache open source.

please help.

You need a JSF implementation. There are several. Sun has one. Myfaces, ADF. Just google around and you'll find all you need.

Generally you need the jsf jar plus the jstl.jar and standard.jar -- the person who decided their jar would be "standard" jar should do hard time in a federal prison.
