Hello everyone,

This might be a really stupid question. I was wondering how people create absolute links within their webapps. It's a shame that HtmlOutputLink doesn't function like HtmlGraphicImage-- HtmlGraphicImage automatically encodes the webapp as part of the url if the url starts with a slash (/).

So, what do you do as a workaround for HtmlOutputLink's deficiencies? I'm trying to avoid hardcoding the webapp name into the links.

Thanks,

-Anthony

If I remember right, this issue will be resolved in the JSF 1.2

Sergey,

Thanks for the tip. Although it's lengthy, I think it will be great. One related question-- what do you do for stuff like a link to a stylesheet? Do you just give up and hard code the webapp?

Thanks,

-Anthony
