Hi there,

I am trying to load some global data from other source at the begining of web application, I am using JSF framework, but I can't find anyway I can do that.

I used to working in the struts framework, I can make a class implements the plugin class, and put it's difinition in the struts-config.xml, and then I can do any global initialization things, BUT in JSF, how can I do this kind of things?

Can anybody help me with this? thanks in advance.

Albert

Create a Managed Bean with application scope. You set this up in the faces-config.xml file.
