Hi there,
I have been trying to use the MyFaces extension components.
The <t: inputDate> component is nice but the problem with it is, it displays the month followed by the date( 05 April). I want it to be in the reverse order (April 05). Is there any way that this can be manipulated so that i get month followed by date?

do I need to write a custom component for making this possible? Or does anybody know of other possible extensions that meet my requirement.

Thanks,

I am not very sure about <t:inputDate>. I beleive a Converter class will do the job for you. Did you try that way ?

Thanks,
Rajeev

Thank you Rajeev, Initially I had a Converter class written to solve the date pattern issue, but the client wanted to have it like a popup calendar so was trying to use the MyFaces custom component <t: inputDate> which did not serve my purpose as it displays the date in (dd/mmmm/yyyy) format but i wanted it in (mmmm/dd/yyyy). I could not find a way to swap the display format with the MyFaces custom component. I finally and successfully wrote a custom component that works how my client wants.
