Hi -

Ajax has a strong appeal for those of us interested in a "Rich User Interface" but, superficially at least, something like Ruby on Rails seems like a more attractive (read "easier") way to go about it than using JSF.

Would your book give us enough background (tell us enough about how Ajax works) to help make an intelligent decision on what API best suits which project?

PS:
Is it at all possible to mix'n'match JSP and RubyOnRails (assuming the web server has both available)?
