This week's book giveaway is in the Testing forum. We're giving away four copies of The Way of the Web Tester: A Beginner's Guide to Automating Tests and have Jonathan Rasmusson on-line! See this thread for details.
I have a situation here. The simplified code is as follows:
I am using the tomahawk components here. Here i have two textboxes whose values, "first" and "second", are bound to two backing beans called "FirstBean.java" and "SecondBean.java", both in request scope.
Now, when the page gets rendered, the getter methods for both the textbox values get called. Ideally, supposing that the "First" tab is the selected one, then only the getter of the textbox value inside that tab should get called. But, in reality, both of them are getting called.
Is there a way to delay the call to the getter of the second textbox until that tab is selected.
