How do I find out my member id?

Search page allows me to search based on member id
Where do I find my own member id...i know it shows up whenever I post something and thats partly the reason why I am posting this post. ;-)

Yep, that's the easiest way. If you are looking for your recent posts, another way is to click on the icon at the top of one of your posts, and then click on the View Recent Posts link in the upper right hand corner.

The way I do it is a bit more convoluded, but....
Click on "My Profile". Click on "Edit/View my Profile". At the bottom, it says "Profile last updated by So-and-so on such-and-such a date" Typically, that so-and-so is your name. Click on it. It will take you to a page listing your member number.
If it's not your name, you can edit your profile (make a meaningless change if need be ), and voila, now it is your name.
Round-about, but there it is.
