"f:verbatim"?

Hi..

Can I render HTML codes which is defined inside <f:verbatim> tag based on some condition, like rendered attribute for <h utputText> tag..

Can you people clear my doubt..

No, I dont think so.

If you can explain your requirement someone will help you with an alternate solution.

Unless I misread the docs, the "rendered" attribute is supported for the <verbatim> tag thanks to its inheritance from the UIComponent base class, and I would expect that it would behave as you expected.

Try it. One of three things should happen:

1. It won't work and it will render the tag body unconditionally.

2. It will turn out that <verbatim rendered="expression"> is an illegal attribute usage and the page rendering will abort with a tag validation error.

3. It will function in the way you hope it will.

Actually i got the solution.. I use <h:panelGroup> tag and I place the <h:verbatim> tag inside that..
