Hello Everyone!

I was just wondering if somebody could help me out here. I was thinking of using a h:dataTable to iterate through some data to be displayed, as you do.

Now I decided that I wanted to add some funk to it so after each row is displayed, I want a blank row underneath. This row is to contain some more info regarding the previous row. I am going to put a standard expand-collapse javascript to this row, so that once you click the first row, the second expands and shows it's data.

There are plenty of examples of this on the web, but I dont know the policy of adding external links here.

I was thinking that there might be a facelet I could use or something similar.

Any help is most appreciated.

Cheers.

"Fibonacci Gold",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!

Sorry Bear, I hope that I have changed my name correctly.

I found a solution to my problem in case somebody else was looking for it.

<h:dataTable>
<h:column>
<h:panelGrid>
<hutputText ....>
......
<h:panelGroup>
Extra Row!
</h:panelGroup>
</h:panelGrid>
</h:column>
<h:dataTable>

Works a charm, I have my extra row for every entry !
