Does anyone have an idea why a select one menu would ever be validated? And how do you get around the validation? Or better yet - what would be failing? It's string key, string value. I don't get it. Please help.

I wrote a page that contains a selectone menu, maybe you compare it with yours to see what you are missing

<f:loadBundle var="msgs" basename="com.abbey.dodo"/>
<br><br><br><br><br><br>

<h:form>
<h:panelGrid columns="2">
<h:outputLabel value="#{msgs.name}"></h:outputLabel>
<h:inputText></h:inputText>
<h:outputLabel value="#{msgs.password}"></h:outputLabel>
<h:inputSecret></h:inputSecret>

<h:selectOneMenu>
<f:selectItem itemLabel="Name" itemValue="Jubril" itemDisabled="false" />
<f:selectItem itemLabel="toyin" itemValue="toyin" itemDisabled="false" />

</h:selectOneMenu>
<h:inputHidden id="dodo"></h:inputHidden>
<h:commandButton value="#{msgs.submit}" action="success"></h:commandButton>
<h:commandButton value="#{msgs.cancel}"></h:commandButton>
</h:panelGrid>
</h:form>

</f:view>

Hello Abiodun, thanks for responding.
I see you are using itemDisabled. I don't understand its use. What is it for?

I tried itemDisabled="false", and I still get the error.

Does anyone else know how to fix?
