Sorry folks. The forums were indeed down this morning for at least an hour and a half.
Apparently, saloon.javaranch.com ran out of semaphores. I don't know what that means, but I suspect I'll be learning that this mornning.

Ooops, just to clarify ...
The problem this morning had to do with saloon.javaranch.com having a semaphore leak.
Since www.javaranch.com was working and saloon.javaranch.com was not, I'll assume that this semaphore thing is somehow tied to apache and not to linux.

Looks like the Database connection pool is hosed.
