AJAX based form submission with JMaki/JSF..  RSS feed

Need your help ..

We have a form (JSF form).The expected feature is when the user submits the form ..it posts/gets request to some foo.jsp and renders the response to the same division in the page(note: page should not refresh)..

How I can implement this feature.. please help me...

Yes you can use an Ajax call; its no different when you use JSF. Just call your AJAX function on onclick property of your button.
You may also want to try the other option: Initially hide the div using the rendered property; use an actionListener on the button; on click of the button, do the required processing in the actionListener; populate the content of your hidden div and set the rendered property of the hidden div to true.
