Just a quick "thank you" to all of you for helping us beginners. Now... What is the proper protocol for posting? I have posted a few topics, & as luck would have it, managed to get "most" of them in the right place. Chit chated back & forth with my "mentors".... & ALWAYS ended up with a solution to my problem. Now here's what I don't know...& can't find anywhere... How do I close a topic? ...or even "should" I be the one closing it. I enjoy (& learn a lot from) reading old posts. I happened to find one even I could answer. Whoda thunkit! ; ) So, when do they fall off? I accidentally fell into my profile today & noticed that I had the option of looking at a whole years worth of posts. Do you folks maintain these, or should I delete my post once I get a resolution? Thanks for the help, & for the patience while I ramble. c ya l8r, -Bill. There are 10 kinds of people in this world, those that understand binary, & those that don't.
Don't worry about closing threads once you get a resolution. Someone else might have something to add. And we keep everything forever so that if someone else has the same problem they might find a solution using search.
