As of the November issue, we've changed the name of our monthly publication from "The JavaRanch Newsletter" to "The JavaRanch Journal", thinking that the title of the publication should better reflect the nature of its content.
As before, we'll continue our efforts to keep the Journal filled with the informative articles it is known for.
If anybody has any thoughts or suggestions for the Journal, please post a note here and let us know. (I'm especially always curious for new ideas on convincing talented authors to provide us with more materials - for free since we're a volunteer-based organization.)

Maybe the Journal could have a Thoughts & Suggestions column.

Before I ask, I must say there are some interesting articles in the old Newsletters. I hope there will be a link to refer to them. My only problem is no matter how full I make my screen, the line length is so long that my browser (IE) alway gives me a scrollbar at the bottom. It may seem trivel to others users, but if you have to click on the scrollbar to read each line, it gets tedious. It reminds me of playing to first game on computers "PONG".
Is there a way to make the lines shorter?

Sonny,
That happens in Mozilla too. One workaround I find useful is to read the newsletter in printable format. The text wraps nicely there.
