How do we ensure that if we have made a web application then if someone is updating the database thru that application the other person doesn't read the database. How do we do it in JSF using Netbeans with Visual Web Pack.?I know synchronized word can do the trick but where and how to use it?Give some code snippet or tutorial for it.

Thanks and regards,
Sonal

It's not a JSF-specific function. What you are interested in are database transactions, but they're a little complicated to discuss here. They provided roughly the same controls as synchronization does for Java code, with the addition of being able to support rolling back of database operations if the transaction fails.

When I use a table databound component along with a database as given in Netbeans Visual Web Pack documentation tutorials then what will happen in database transactions that is my main cause of concern?

Reply ASAP.
