Hello friends,

I am new to Java and JSF. I have been reading a lot of books nowadays to get some knoledge of the same. I am working on JBoss Red hat. I am trying to modify an existing project, with the things I learn. Recently I thought to replace the command buttons with a dropdown, consisting a list of items.
But i am not able to give action to the items, as i was able to, using the command buttons. I understand that action can not be directly defined in for items in dropdown.

I want your help friends. I would be very thankful to you.

Thanks and regards,
Dan
