RichFaces Skinning: menu issues

Hello everyone
I am using richFaces and am working on skinning. With many of the components in the html tag library, I can give a style class to tie into the skin. For example:

However, with something like h:selectOneMenu, I can't seem to get any skinning to work correctly. I tried styleClass="rich-select", and that gave the gradient correctly when the menu was empty. However, I want it to look more like the rich:comboBox does. That ties in the menu's button and gives a nice gradient.

I would just use the rich:comboBox, but I can't get it to behave the same way as an h:selectOneMenu.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance
