Hi all,

I have created a login application which has three different home pages dependending on the roles .
I have to open these home pages as a pop-up window.
I read that a form action can be opened in a pop-up by using javaScript's window.open("URL"), but my URL is decided in the faces-config.xml.

Please tell me the correct way to do this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You can get the Role, URL based on logged in user from prop file.

Prop file is like
roles=role1,role2,role3
urls=url1,url2,url3

Load XML data into Hashmap in start-up of application, and based on role, you can show corresponding URL.

Thanks , i have learnt a new thing here.. I will try to implement it,
but my main task is to show the response in a pop-up window.

Can anyone guide me to a solution for it.
