Hi All,

I was reading JSF Lifecycle here, http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/j-jsf2/. I am writing down what I have understood from the phases, please correct me if I am wrong.

1).Restore view: For the client side html page's request parameters, server side components are created.
2).Apply Request Values: The server side components are filled with the client side html pages request parameters.
3).Process Validations: Server side components are validated now at the server side.
4).Update Model Values: Server side components state is stored in a form bean which is in the business layer basically.
5).Invoke Application: EJB or some other business objects process the components (events)
6).Render Response: Output is sent back to the JSP in the front end.

I am assuming components on the server side are events?

Thanks.
