Hi,
first the hard facts:
IDE: netbeans 6.5
JSF: 1.2
APP server glassfish 2.2
OS: windows XP

I've made a very simple JSF application that selects rows from a database and shows the data in a sortable table.

No programming is involved - just drag and drop using the ide. When i run the application in IE v7 it works as i expect. I see the table and i'm able to sort the data and every thing works nicely.

When i run the application in any firefox browser the screen update fails in about 1 out of 2 screen refreshes. I see the table but it contains no headings nor any data and seems 'compacted'. some other components on the page are missing as well.

can someone explain to me what is happening here? why do i see this difference between FF and IE?

I hope to get some feedback here since i'm stuck at this point.

Could you please post some code so we can get a better idea of the problem?

Well,
basically its just this netbeans tutorial:

http://www.netbeans.org/kb/60/web/helloweb.html

in my previous post i mentioned a table showing database data.

But if i just follow the first part of this tutorial. create a form with an inputfield and a button i see the phenomenon too.

when i enter a name and press the 'say hello' button i often get a blank screen after having submitted the form.

I've followed the tutorial to the point. everything compiles. using IE it works - using FF it fails in 50% of the cases.
