How to use custom user type  RSS feed

I have design a custom user type -- string[]-- in hibernate. Everything is fine. Now I don't know how to use it in client side.

In my understanding, it should be like this.

Track track = new Track();
string[] data = new string[2];
data[0] ="dd"; ...

track.setMyType((myCustomType)data);

But this way, it doesn't work. How to use it ?
