Can anyone point me to a good tutorial on how to generate persistent classes using an Ant build file? I have the Hibernate Developer's Notebook, but it hasn't been much help.

There is middlegen tool and hbm2java plugin to it. Middlegen itself by my opinion is piece of crap. So you better find something else to generate Hibernate mapping from the DB. For MSSQL I wrote generator myself. But hbm2java is somewhat usefull.
