Hibernate - Oracle - JNDI

I wanna do transactions using Hibernate into Oracle database [Using JNDI / DS]. I was successful to do the transactions using jdbc thin driver. If anybody has any reference then please let me know.

Well, Hibernate has Sessions that handle the transactions for you. So just using Hibernate will give you that ability. Just go to www.jboss.org and they have documentation that you can read more about Hibernate.

If you are using Hibernate in a Container Managed Environment (e.g. within a Session Bean), then you can hook into the containers transaction handling capabilities so that transactions are automatically handled for you by the container.

If you are not running in this type of environment, then you can start transactions and commit them using the Hibernate Session object. You can find details about Hibernate 3 transactions here.
