Do you know if there is a JDO implementation that can be used with the PostgreSQL relatiional database? More importantly does any data base only need to have a JDBC interface already implemented, in order to use any JDO enhancer on a POJO?

Thanks

william,

I would look at the docs for the JDO implementations such as http://www.solarmetric.com and http:/www.jpox.org etc

The enhancer is typically independent of the database or wherever the data is stored. It just makes the classes persistable.

Where the objects are can be stored is a feature of the particular JDO implementation. Some work with relational databases (via JDBC), others with object databases, XML, LDAP etc etc.
