Hi,
I am getting and error when I instantiate org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration. I am using the latest hibernate3.jar & Java5.

"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/dom4j/DocumentException"

This used to work. Did JBoss change something regarding this class?

You are not being quite clear.

meaning?
It used to work with Hibernate 2?
It used to work before with Hibernate 3 and Java 5, and now it magically doesn't?

Are you using JBoss? That would be quite different from the "plain" Hibernate 3 and Java 5.
Or are you simply refering to marked increased visibility of the JBoss influence in Hibernate 3?
Which brings up the "used to work issue" again. Maybe this code was fine outside of JBoss but isn't inside JBoss?
Are you also using the latest JBoss version?
Is the dom4j-?.?.?.jar in your bibernate/lib directory a more recent version then the one in the JBoss environment?
